- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (240ml)
- 1 tablespoon ground chia seeds (10g)
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds (10g)
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds (10g)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
- 3–4 drops liquid stevia (optional, for sweetness)
- 1 scoop (15g) unflavored or vanilla protein isolate (optional, for extra protein)
Instructions
- Prepare Seeds: If your chia and flaxseeds aren’t pre-ground, grind them in a clean coffee grinder or high-powered blender until they reach a fine powder consistency.
- Combine Ingredients: Add almond milk, ground chia seeds, ground flaxseeds, and hemp seeds to a blender.
- Add Flavorings: Add cinnamon, vanilla extract, and stevia (if using) to the blender.
- Add Protein (Optional): If using protein powder for additional protein, add it now.
- Blend: Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth with no visible seed particles.
- Serve: Pour into a glass and serve immediately. If you prefer a thicker consistency, refrigerate for 10-15 minutes before consuming.
- Consume: Sip slowly over 15-20 minutes, as recommended for bariatric patients.
