Description

Chamoy pickles are the ultimate bold snack—salty, sweet, tangy, spicy, and crunchy all in one bite. This viral treat is easy to make and endlessly customizable.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large dill pickle (whole or sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons Chamoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Tajín seasoning
  • Optional: gummy candies (sour worms, gummy bears)
  • Optional: fruit roll-ups
  • Optional: tamarind paste
  • Optional: lime juice
  • Optional: extra chili powder or hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Slice the dill pickle lengthwise or leave it whole depending on preference.
  2. Drizzle Chamoy sauce generously over the pickle to fully coat it.
  3. Sprinkle Tajín seasoning on top for an extra kick.
  4. Add optional toppings like gummy candies or wrap in a fruit roll-up.
  5. For more heat, dip the pickle in chili powder or drizzle with hot sauce.
  6. Serve immediately or chill in the fridge to intensify the flavor.

Notes

To make a healthier version, use low-sodium pickles and skip the sugary candies. Homemade Chamoy also lets you control sugar and salt levels.
